Gender Affirming Therapy
Respectful, informed, and affirming care for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse adults in San Diego and across California via telehealth.
Gender Affirming Care
I provide gender-affirming evaluations and letters for people seeking access to gender-affirming surgeries. If you are pursuing hormone therapy, gender-affirming surgery, voice therapy, legal name and gender marker changes, or other affirming services, I offer support with compassion, respect, and clarity.
I work with transgender, nonbinary, gender-diverse, genderqueer, Two-Spirit, gender fluid, gender expansive, and gender-questioning clients across California, offering both ongoing therapy and stand-alone assessments for letters of support.
Experience
I provide ongoing therapy and evaluations informed by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) Standards of Care. I am familiar with the letters and documentation requirements many medical providers, surgeons, and insurance companies may have for gender-affirming procedures.
I provide evaluations and letters that meet required standards while supporting you in advocating for your care and navigating systems that can often feel overwhelming.
Assessments, Evaluations, Documentation, Letters
I provide gender affirming assessment, evaluation, documentation, or letters of support for adults in California:
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
Top surgery, bottom surgery, and other gender-affirming procedures
Legal name and gender marker changes
Voice therapy and other medically necessary services
Letters are written to meet WPATH SOC8 criteria and include the information providers, surgeons, and insurance companies typically require.
If your medical team has specific documentation requirements, letters can be tailored to meet those needs. I am also available to coordinate with members of your medical team to support your care.
